Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost?
A $5 festival wristband can be purchased online or at the gate. *Children 10 years and younger will receive a FREE wristband for entry. After entering the park with your wristband, you will want to visit the “Ticket Booth” where you can purchase tickets to taste wings and lots of other food options from all our Cook Teams. We use a ticket system to help make things simpler for everyone. Every ticket costs $2. 1 Red Ticket = 1 Wing Sample. These tickets can also be used for a drink from the drink booth or a side dish item from one of the food vendors. We also have a raffle taking place that day. Those tickets are purple and $2 each as well.
What forms of payment will you be accepting?
We will be accepting Cash, Cards, Venmo, Cashapp, Paypal, Apple Pay, Google Pay & Samsung Pay.
Where can I park?
Paid parking is available along the road and at Parc Auto Du Centre-Ville (Parking Garage) – 121 E. Vermilion St, Lafayette, La 70501. There is NO FREE PARKING at anytime in Downtown Lafayette. Please be very careful as parking violations are strictly enforced 24/7.

May 16th, 2026. Parc International – 200 Garfield St., Lafayette, La 70501. 10am – 4pm.
Does $5 admission include food and drinks?
No. Entry is $5 and every wing tasting is $2 per sample.
Is there a dress code or prohibited attire?
Profanity, obscenities or offensive gestures/references on any part of visible clothing/jackets/hats etc is NOT allowed. Attendee will be asked to remove items and/or refused admittance. Refunds will not be given.
Are pets allowed?
No. Pets are not allowed unless they are certified service animals.
Are tickets refundable or exchangeable?
No, all ticket sales are final and non-refundable. This event is a RAIN OR SHINE event.
Will there be other things to eat than just wings?
Yes. First off, we have boneless and traditional wings. Secondly, each Cook Team will have a side dish giving you the ability to eat some delicious Mac ‘N Cheese, Red Beans and Rice, Jambalaya, Loaded French Fries, and more. We also will have dessert vendors that will be sure to please with their sweet treats.
Are outside ice-chests or coolers allowed?
No, but there are lots of great food and drink vendors to choose from. We also have a full assortment of desserts.
Are chairs or pop-up tents allowed?
Pop-up tents are NOT allowed. “Bag” chairs and low beach chairs may be set up in the park area, but there is plenty of seating that will be freely available to festival attendees.
Is the festival handicap accessible?
Yes. The park is equipped and accessible for wheelchairs and those who may have a physical handicap.
Is this "Family Friendly"?
Absolutely. We work very hard to ensure that from the youngest person to the oldest, they have a good, safe, enjoyable time at the Wing Wars of Acadiana. We have lots of fun things for kids of all ages to do and we also have some clean, fun, things for adults as well.
Will there be security on site?
Yes. We have worked with the local Sheriff’s Office to establish a “security plan” and there will be several friendly officers on site to ensure the safety and security of our attendees and participants.
